Weather-related School Delays and Closures
Winter weather may bring road and driving conditions that cause changes in the operations of our Riverside schools, such as late starts, early dismissals, or closures.
Communication: our goal is to inform students, staff, and families about school closures or changes in the school operations between 5:00-5:30 a.m. In some cases, when the decisions are crystal clear, we will strive to inform you between 5:00-5:30 p.m. the night before. Closure or delay information will be communicated in the following ways:

For the two levies approved by nearly 70% of our voters last February (thank you!), we will start collecting levy taxes in 2019. We collect the first installment in April and the second installment in October. Levy #1 of $1.50/$1000 of assessed property value pays for learning programs, and Levy #2 of $.80/$1000 pays for security, facilities, and technology improvements.
